Hey are those hood pins for show or are they real? Just asking since I have to use them to secure my SiR hood and it looked like I was going to put them in about the same spot, maybe 2 inches more forward....wondering where you welded (if you did) the mount bracket for the pin catch?

Hey NC_Rex, your missing the hood latch support/t-bar right? I could get you one, if you want, I'll make you some kind of a trade for your EF-9 rear wing? Let me know, I am pretty sure I have access to one for ya.

In regards to the hood pins.
I was driving down the highway when my hood started to shake really bad. I originally though the latch would be able to hold the nearly weightless CF hood. Nope I was wrong. I installed the pins right on the headlight supports. I re-drilled the whole because the pins were a little wider than the original location.

I hope to have the car finished pretty soon, I have been entered by my local shop for the C.I.N.(Canadian import nationals) for August 18th. I have quite the list of mods that are in process right now, but they won't be implemented until next winter. I'll take some more pictires of the car but here is a side profile last summer. Sorry the pictures are bad, but you get the idea.

These are pretty recent. I have removed the front foglights and trying to figure out how to modify my intake to mount it behind the right hole.. Oh well I'll get it...
